Magic, a quest, dragons, Enchanted armour and a villain to be overcome. The idea for the Academy and the variety of teachers as allies and potential menaces is certainly borrowed from Harry Potter; the story has enough original material to make it great fun. A coming-of-age story, a romance, and a quest to combine take your way from every day life for an adventure. You'll like this enough to want to buy the book that follows.

I am shocked at how much I loved this book. From page one I was hooked and it only grew and made me more entwined in the story. The main character is so funny and I love his interaction will all people in the story. I actually loved the main female character Natalie the most, she is spunky and I really related to her. I can't wait to read more from this author.
